Community Support Associate

Salary - $25,000 - $28,125
Educational Requirements:
Community support associate shall be eighteen (18) years of age or older, have a high school diploma, a general equivalency diploma (GED), or qualifying documentation from a comparable educational entity.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Support activities associated with positive skill building such as emotional regulation skills, crisis coping skills and developing and enhancing interpersonal skills.
- Assist client in accessing and utilizing community resources and transporting when necessary.
- Consumers will be treated with respect and courtesy, appointments will be timely, phone calls returned promptly, and requests for information or services will be responded to in a timely manner.
Experience
Required:
Community support associate will have one (1) year of full-time experience working with individuals who receive services for treatment of a mental health disorder. Shall successfully complete within six (6) months of hire the department approved training program.
