** Job Summary
** The Project Lead will manage MOED’s Recovery-Friendly Workplace (RFW) Initiative and serve as the primary point of contact for business-focused activities within the Recovery-Friendly Programs department  RFW supports employers in Baltimore City as they seek RFW designation and builds momentum with designees to decrease stigma around those in recovery from substance use disorder. This role oversees the implementation of the SOR IV grant, supervises the Recovery-Friendly Advisor, and provides intake assessments, resource navigation, mentorship, and support services to participants enrolled in workforce development.
** ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
** Employer Engagement & Outreach
* Develop a strategic outreach plan to promote the RFW Initiative.
* Coordinate and conduct information sessions and outreach events.
* Engage and partner with Baltimore City businesses to promote, develop, and
* sustain the RFW model.
* Provide businesses with tools and resources to support employee recovery and family wellness.
* Consult with employers to plan trainings tailored to their needs on substance use disorder, behavioral health, and addiction.
* Assist businesses in participating in public awareness and education events.

Participant Support Services
* Conduct intake and initial assessments of service needs.
* Aid participants in accessing services and making appropriate referrals based on assessments.
* Assist customers in identifying required documentation and help navigate systems to obtain necessary documents.

Program Oversight & Supervision
* Provide direct supervision and support to the Recovery-Friendly Advisor. (Dependent on supervisory experience).
* Ensure quality service delivery through follow-up communication and feedback from participants and employers.
* Facilitate and/or monitor job development partnership between Peer Recovery Specialists and the Recovery-Friendly Advisor. This may include facilitating the Peer Job Development meeting and informing the job development strategy for the peer program.
* Track and manage SOR grant deliverables and peer job development placements.
* Coordinate special activities and events tied to the RFW initiative.
* Work with the Recovery-Friendly Programs manager to align programs and resources to net the broadest impact on residents.
* Represent MOED at professional meetings, community events, and organizational functions.

Data and Reporting
* Serve as point of contact for Maryland Department of Labor including check-ins and reporting.
* Monitor performance and service quality using Excel and other MS Office tools.
** Minimum Qualifications
***
* Education:

** High school diploma or equivalent required.
** AND
* **
* Experience:

** Must be in recovery for a minimum of two years from a substance use disorder, mental health, or co-occurring disorder. Certified Peer Recovery Specialist (CPRS), or ability to obtain certification within 12 months. Minimum of one year of supervisory experience. Valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle. Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
** Preferred Qualifications
** Additional education, training, or certification in workforce development, behavioral health, or human services. Proven success in project and grant management. Experience in a public or government setting.
