Eliot is seeking an enthusiastic Bilingual Family Partner to join our Family Resource Center (FRC) team. The FRC is part of a statewide network of community-based programs offering multicultural parenting resources, support groups, and early childhood services. Our goal is to help families strengthen their bonds, connect with others, and engage in their communities.
As a Family Partner, you will assist families by drawing on your own lived experience related to CRA issues or children with special needs. The ideal candidate will have a strong ability to engage and support individuals and families from culturally and economically diverse backgrounds.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct intake assessments and collaborate with clinicians to support CRA-involved youth or those at risk.
- Develop and execute creative and “outside the box” interventions to support individuals and/or families.
- Develop culturally sensitive, strengths-based family support plans that address identified needs and preferences
- Create and implement innovative interventions to support individuals and families
- Lead assigned workshops or groups, including Evidence-Based Parenting Groups.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Lived experience with this population
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Fluent in Spanish or Portuguese
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:30am-5:30pm or 10:00am-6:00pm
Hourly Rate
$21.48 - $21.48 USD
