Pay: $27/Hour Your Toolkit Should Include:- Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree preferred)
- Experience working with or providing services to children and families
- Ability to establish trusting relationships
- Acceptance of and respect for individual differences
- Experience and humility to work with culturally diverse families
- Knowledge of infant and child development
- Willingness to engage in building reflective capacity (e.g., introspection, self-awareness in relation to others, valuing supervision)
- Infant mental health endorsement (preferred)
- Building long-term, trusting relationships with 15-20 families through regular in-home visits (1+ hour each)
- Conducting needs assessments, screenings (ASQ, ASQ-SE, depression screens, FROG Scale), and eligibility evaluations
- Developing individualized Family Service Plans and supporting families in setting and achieving goals
- Connecting families to community resources, healthcare, housing, childcare, and crisis services
- Delivering research-based education on child development, health, nutrition, and family functioning
- Maintaining accurate case notes, contact logs, and database records per agency and funding requirements
- Representing the program at community outreach events and agency collaboration meetings
- Modeling a trauma-informed, strengths-based, empathetic approach - honoring diverse family structures and parenting practices
- Participating in weekly team meetings and individual reflective supervision
- Maintaining strict confidentiality and exercising sound professional judgment at all times
