AWAIC is seeking a Direct Service Advocate (DSA) for full-time day shift in Anchorage. The role provides trauma-informed, survivor-centered support in shelter operations and crisis response, including intake, safety planning, and referrals.
Department:
Programs. Reports to Shelter Supervisor. Compensation starts at $25/hr requires strong interpersonal skills, confidentiality, and ability to work in high-stress situations. Evening/weekend coverage may be required.
