Rite of Passage Team is Hiring an ORR Youth Care Worker (English/Spanish) at Rite of Passage, Sycamore Academy. Join a group of passionate advocates on our mission to improve the lives of youth!
What you will do:
Coach Counselors provide for the physical, personal, and health needs of each student through individual counseling and behavioral, social, physical, and educational skill development. They provide a supportive environment, monitor and document student behaviors and activities, and assist with educational, social, athletic, and recreational activities. Coach Counselors collaborate with professional staff to support each student’s treatment plan and perform standard paraprofessional duties related to program operations.
They typically report to a Group Leader or higher authority, with operational supervision provided by a Senior Coach Counselor.

- Sunday through Thursday or Tuesday through Saturday
- Work schedule is based on program needs
$23.74 per hour

To be considered for this opportunity, candidates must:
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Must be able to pass bilingual (English/Spanish) assessment.
- Minimum 1 year employment experience in the child welfare field working with children and/or adolescents.
- Must meet the requirements to be an eligible ROP driver. Must possess a current State Driver’s License and have an acceptable driving record for the past three (3) years.
- Ability to pass a criminal background clearance check, drug screen, physical and TB test.
