Firefly Children & Family Alliance is looking for a part-time Abuse Intervention Program Facilitator in Indianapolis, Indiana. This position will primarily be responsible for facilitating AIP groups for men and women, respectively. Training and any applicable certifications will need to be maintained at all times. Because most AIP groups are held in the evening, availability between 4:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. is required.

However, some groups are also offered during daytime hours (10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.). This position is intended to be flexible and may range from approximately 2 to 8 hours per week based on group needs, coverage requirements, and census.

Responsibilities Therapy Support
  • Complete documentation of all client contacts.
  • Participate in multi-disciplinary meetings when appropriate.
  • Participate in ongoing Domestic Violence training and certifications.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, criminal justice, human services, or a related field.
  • Experience working with justice-involved individuals, behavioral health populations, and/or group facilitation.
  • Knowledge of and skills in working with perpetrators and/or survivors of abuse, family dynamics and basic group facilitation methods.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, organization & time management skills.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
