We are looking for a hands‑on Engineer III who operates as Technical Lead—someone who can both architect within guardrails and execute in code. You are responsible for the technical roadmap of our digital ecosystem, ensuring that our Salesforce integrations, frontend architecture, and deployment pipelines are world‑class. You establish the standards for TDD (Test‑Driven Development), automation, and AI adoption.
You’ll play a critical role in advancing ADT’s Sales and Service Platform, leading technical solution design and guiding a cross‑functional engineering pod across platforms like Salesforce CRM, CPQ, Billing, Mule Soft, and modern CMS tools. This is not a pure oversight role—you are expected to actively code, design, and elevate engineering quality standards, leveraging AI to accelerate development and testing.
What You’ll Do Technical Leadership & Solution Design- Own end‑to‑end technical solution design following architecture hand‑offs across:
- Salesforce CRM (Sales, Service)
- CPQ
- Mule Soft APIs
- Other integrations
- Translate business and product requirements into scalable, maintainable technical solutions
- Drive integration patterns across platforms
- Actively contribute to development across:
- Salesforce CRM (Sales, Service)
- CPQ / RCA
- Mule Soft APIs
- Leverage AI‑assisted coding tools (e.g. Cursor) to accelerate delivery and improve code quality
- Serve as the technical leader within a pod of engineers
- Guide design decisions, code quality, and engineering best practices
- Mentor engineers and raise the technical bar across the team
- Champion a culture where engineers own quality end‑to‑end
- Ensure all code includes:
- Automated unit tests
- Integration tests where applicable
- Leverage AI for test generation, validation, and coverage improvements
- 7 years of Object‑Oriented software development experience
- 5+ years of strong hands‑on experience with Salesforce CRM.
- Knowledge of CPQ
- Solid understanding of Mule Soft APIs and integration patterns
- Development experience with Salesforce CPQ or RCA, including Billing integration.
- Development experience with Mulesoft
- Preferred Copado experience
- Proven ability to lead technical design within a pod structure
- Strong communicator who can bridge architecture, product, and engineering
- Deep sense of ownership and accountability for outcomes—not just output
- Experience or strong interest in using AI tools for:
- Code generation and refactoring
- Test automation
- Developer productivity optimization
- Pod‑based model with high ownership and autonomy
- Engineers are responsible for both building and validating their work
- Emphasis on speed + quality through AI augmentation
- Collaborative environment across Product, Engineering, and Marketing
