WhatYou’ll Do
As a Cloud Software Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, development, and support of backend services, APIs, and cloud-based applications using C#, .NET, and Microsoft Azure. You will independently deliver well-designed, production-ready software and own features through development, testing, deployment, and operational support.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:- Designing, implementing, testing, and maintaining backend services, APIs, and application components using C#, .NET, and established engineering standards
- Building and supporting cloud-hosted solutions in Microsoft Azure using appropriate compute, storage, messaging, and identity services
- Contributing to technical design and implementation decisions for features and services, with attention to scalability, reliability, performance, and maintainability
- Writing clean, secure, and well-tested production code and participating actively in peer code reviews
- Collaborating with product managers, QA, and other engineers to translate requirements into effective technical solutions
- Troubleshooting and resolving defects, performance issues, and production incidents across application, cloud, and data layers
- Supporting CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and release processes to improve delivery quality and consistency
- Using logging, monitoring, and alerting tools to improve observability and operational support
- Documenting technical designs, implementation details, and support procedures for services and systems
- Providing guidance to less experienced engineers through code reviews, collaboration, and knowledge sharing

Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field — or equivalent practical experience
- 3–5 years of professional software engineering experience building and supporting production applications
- Strong proficiency in C# and the .NET ecosystem, including modern application development patterns
- Hands-on experience developing, deploying, and supporting applications or services in Microsoft Azure
- Experience building REST APIs, service integrations, and data-driven applications with attention to reliability and maintainability
- Solid understanding of relational databases, SQL, data modeling, and ORM frameworks such as Entity Framework or Entity Framework Core
- Experience with source control, automated testing, CI/CD, and standard software development lifecycle practices
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills across application and cloud environments
- Ability to work independently on defined technical problems while collaborating effectively within an engineering team
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
Education & Experience:
- Experience with ASP.NET Core, background services, microservices, or event-driven architectures
- Experience with Azure services such as App Service, Functions, Azure SQL, Service Bus, Storage Accounts, Key Vault, Application Insights, Monitor, and Entra
