Software Development, Lead Associate
to join us in supporting andmaintainingthe Medicare Fee For Service  claims processing system. In this role,youwillbe asenior technical contributor onan Agile team providing maintenance and operations support for the Medicare Durable Medical Equipment(DME) contract.

Development, Lead Associate, you willyou will work within a highly structured and rigorous development environment that follows theSAFeAgile/Scrum framework. This role focuses on handling project coordination and technical design to hands-on coding, unit testing, and defect resolutionacrossfunctional areasof themainframelegacyDME system.

Quality is vital to this mission,the rolewill build and execute unit test plans, test cases, and test data including COBOL and Assembler components.

This rolewill also handle installing changes into internal testing regions,troubleshootingandresolving defects,identifying process improvements, andkeepingtechnical documentation current.

Lead Associate role will be translating customer goalsand requirements into actionableworkitems for the team, while serving as a technical resource and mentor to developers.

Responsibilities:

• Design, codes,and unit tests, and debugsenhancementsand fixesto the health claims processing system while adhering to strict coding standards.

• Leads and completes developmentofcomplex components within the mainframe environment.

• Designs,prepare sand executes unit tests;represent steam to clientson technical matters.

• Education & Experience:
  
  BS/BA with6+yearsof relevant experience; or Masterswith 4 years of relevant experience; or HSdiplomawith
  10+years experience.

• 6+years of mainframe development experience in production or maintenance environment.

• Proficiency with mainframe technologies including COBOL, JCL, CICS, TSO and VSAM.

• Knowledge of health care claims processing, particularly Medicare Fee for Service.

• Abilityto perform well in a highly rigorousstructureddevelopment environment.

• Demonstrated experience as aseniorsoftware developer in a mainframe environment.

• Demonstratedability todetermineand decompose business and technical requirements.

• Application lifecyclemethodologyexperience,specifically Agile/SCRUM

• Strong communication skills and technical writing ability.

• Ability to develop application project solutions and estimating.

• Experience with Medicare Part A, Medicare Part B,DMEor Medicare Common Working File (CWF) specific processing systems.
