InDev is seeking a Microsoft Power Platform Developer to create custom solutions for our Department of Homeland Security client. In this role, you will provide support by developing and updating custom solutions in the MS Power Apps and SharePoint platforms (e.g., automate business processes, creating custom user interfaces), developing and maintaining user stories and a product backlog, creating custom SharePoint pages, and extending Power Apps pages functionality with Dataverse integration.
While technical skills are essential, a successful candidate will also bring innovative ideas and a sense of ownership to the work they take on.
- Design, develop, and maintain solutions using Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI, to support business processes and reporting needs.
- Build and support SharePoint Online sites, lists, libraries, workflows, and custom forms to improve collaboration and information management.
- Integrate Power Platform solutions with SharePoint and other Microsoft 365 services to streamline workflows and data exchange.
- Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions that align with enterprise standards and best practices.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and development team members to gather requirements, provide technical guidance, and deliver high-quality solutions.
- Work in a scrum team using the agile method.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Engineering, or other related discipline.
- Minimum of three (3) years as a Business Analyst or similar role.
- 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Power Platform including developing and deploying custom model-driven Power Apps (Plugins, Workflows, Cloud Flows, API integration using SDK), Power Automate, Dataverse, and Power BI solutions.
- Hands‑on working knowledge and understanding of the Canvas Apps framework including customization experience with data connections and Canvas Apps.
- Hands‑on experience with Power Platform and SharePoint Online, including site administration, lists, libraries, permissions, and page design.
- Experience integrating Power Apps and Power Automate flows with a variety of data sources and leveraging connectors.
- Knowledge of user‑centered design practices, designing and architecting web applications, and familiarity with accessibility requirements (e.g., Section 508).
- Strong communication skills to interact with technical teams and government stakeholders.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Graph, REST APIs, or custom integrations.
- Experience with SharePoint Framework (SPFx), JavaScript, Type Script, or related web development technologies.
- Experience supporting federal enterprise programs, with emphasis on governance and compliance.
Clearance: U.S. Citizen;
Active DHS clearance or Top Secret DoD Clearance.
