Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior .NET Developer with at least 8 years of post-graduation software development experience for a 24-month contract role in Albany, NY. This is a critical backfill position on a direct end-client project. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and maintain high-performance enterprise applications using the Microsoft technology stack.
Location: Albany, NY (Onsite / Hybrid as required by client)Duration: 24 Months Requirement: Backfill / Replacement
Key Responsibilities
- Design, code, test, and deploy robust enterprise-level software solutions using C# and .NET Framework/.NET Core.
- Develop and consume RESTful APIs, Web APIs, and microservices for system integration.
- Optimize database queries, stored procedures, and schema designs using SQL Server.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, business analysts, and system architects to gather requirements and deliver high-quality code.
- Perform code reviews, unit testing, and troubleshooting to resolve complex technical bugs.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience: Strictly 8+ years of verifiable hands-on .NET software development experience post-graduation.
- Core Tech Stack: C#, .NET Core / .NET Framework, ASP.NET MVC, Web API.
- Database: Microsoft SQL Server, T-SQL, Entity Framework, ORM tools.
