Position: Executive Director, Product Management — Home Lending Product & Transformation
Location: Northern

Explicitly requires vibe coding and hands-on AI/LLM work to build agentic prototypes and automation; strong focus on prompt engineering and rapid prototyping with firm-approved AI tools.

About the Role

Lead product strategy and delivery for Home Lending transformation at Chase, defining outcomes and shipping AI- and LLM-powered agentic experiences that speed cycle time and improve customer outcomes. Partner with engineering, design, and business leaders to prototype, prioritize, and deliver scalable, data-driven solutions across channels.

Job Description Role

As Executive Director of Product Management, Home Lending Product & Transformation, you will define measurable outcomes and deliver AI-powered capabilities to accelerate idea-to-impact for Chase’s home lending ecosystem. You will lead product strategy, prototype-first delivery, and cross-functional execution to re-imagine customer experiences and reduce cycle time.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish a prototype-first delivery model using firm-approved tooling and light coding to build interactive agentic prototypes.
  • Define and prioritize the product backlog to maximize customer and business value; translate strategy into measurable outcomes and sequenced enterprise-scale delivery plans.
  • Translate requirements into functional specifications (process flows, business rules, data definitions, acceptance criteria) and incorporate platform and integration dependencies for realistic sequencing.
  • Design and deliver agentic experiences across modalities and channels (in-app chat, SMS, RCS, outbound/inbound voice) with clear handoffs and escalation rules.
  • Define agent operating boundaries and guardrails to ensure predictable, enterprise-compliant behavior.
  • Establish prompt refinement and optimization practices; continuously test and tune prompts and few-shot examples to improve quality and latency.
  • Own data and integration thinking end-to-end (source-to-target mappings, data contracts, reconciliation checks) to ensure reliable cross-system solutions.
  • Lead discovery, usability testing, and rapid experiments (MVPs/A-B tests); use SQL/analytics and light scripting to validate hypotheses and accelerate time-to-insight.
  • Facilitate agile ceremonies, partner with engineers to slice work, remove blockers, and own delivery velocity, quality, and outcomes.
  • Instrument features, analyze performance, and publish outcome dashboards to drive ROI and maintain a living, data-backed roadmap.
  • Champion innovation, challenge legacy processes, and lead cross-functional change initiatives to transform Home Lending.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of Product Owner/Product Manager experience with end-to-end ownership and evidence of compressing cycle time on complex products.
  • 3+ years hands‑on experience with JIRA/JIRA Align for backlog management and demonstrated expertise leading agile delivery (Scrum/Kanban).
  • Hands‑on experience building agentic, LLM‑powered applications end-to-end, including orchestration pipelines, prompt engineering, retrieval‑augmented generation (RAG), and model output evaluation.
  • Proven ability to build and scale agentic task‑automation solutions that reduce manual work and deliver measurable business impact.
  • Advanced product analytics capability; familiarity with AI/ML concepts and firm‑approved tools; hands‑on technical proficiency (SQL, light scripting/automation, firm‑approved “vibe coding”).
  • Applied UX and solution design experience; proficiency with Figma and process‑mapping tools to frame problems and prototype solutions.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills; ability to translate business needs into integration‑ready functional specifications and perform lightweight debugging/root cause analysis.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
Notes
  • The role emphasizes responsible use of AI within governance and human judgment.
  • Focus is on enterprise‑scale delivery, data/integration reliability, and measurable acceleration of cycle time and customer outcomes.
