Senior Full Stack Engineer​/Hybrid​/Chicago, IL

A rapidly growing software company in the equipment technology space is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join its product development organization.

This full-time position is based in Chicago's River North neighborhood and follows a hybrid schedule.

The team is building modern cloud applications using Type Script, Node.js, Next.js, JavaScript, and AWS while introducing innovative AI-driven functionality into its product suite.

This is a unique opportunity for an engineer who wants to work on meaningful products with direct business impact. The organization is making significant investments in artificial intelligence, including voice-based automation and advanced workflow solutions. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with executive leadership and play a key role in shaping product strategy, architecture, and technical direction while continuing to grow their expertise in modern cloud technologies and AI-enabled applications.

• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Strong experience with Type Script and Java Script
• Experience developing applications with Node.js
• Front-end experience with Next.js, React, or similar frameworks
• Experience working with AWS cloud technologies
• Understanding of modern software development best practices
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

• Experience building SaaS products
• Exposure to AI, machine learning, or LLM-based applications
• Experience designing scalable APIs and backend services
• Familiarity with cloud-native architecture
• Experience working in agile product teams
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field

• Design and develop full stack web applications
• Build scalable backend services and APIs
• Create modern user-facing experiences using React and Next.js
• Contribute to AI voice automation initiatives
• Collaborate with product and leadership teams on strategic projects
• Participate in architecture and technical design discussions
• Improve system reliability, scalability, and performance

• Competitive base salary of $150,000 to $200,000
