About the RoleA product-minded, customer-embedded Forward-Deployed AI Engineer who designs, prototypes, and ships end-to-end AI solutions that integrate LLMs and enterprise systems. The role partners directly with clients to move AI projects from concept to production and ensure scalable, secure, business-aligned outcomes.
Job Description RoleForward-Deployed AI Engineer embedding with enterprise clients to design, prototype, deploy, and scale production-grade AI workflows, agents, copilots, and automations. Work spans translating ambiguous business needs into technical solutions and acting as the technical bridge between product, engineering, data, and business stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Work directly with clients and internal teams to understand business problems, shape AI use cases, and define technical solutions.
- Design and implement end-to-end AI solutions integrating foundation models and AI services with enterprise platforms and data systems.
- Rapidly prototype, iterate, and deploy AI-enabled workflows, agents, copilots, and automations into operational environments.
- Drive solution architecture including prompt and workflow design, API integrations and orchestration, enterprise knowledge integration, and security/privacy/governance.
- Own solutions from concept through prototype, production, and iteration with accountability for quality, reliability, and outcomes.
- Provide technical leadership and best practices for responsible, secure, and scalable AI deployment.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience with modern AI/ML platforms (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic) and with workflow orchestration and agent frameworks.
- Experience integrating AI solutions with enterprise platforms (Service Now, Salesforce, SAP, data platforms, internal systems).
- Minimum 10 years of experience translating business needs into technical designs within large enterprise organizations or professional services firms.
- Minimum 10 years of client-facing communication and collaboration experience, including leading technical discussions and workshops under ambiguity.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent (or equivalent years of experience as specified).

- California: $132,500 to $366,300
- Maine: $112,900 to $269,600
- New York: $122,700 to $366,300
Multiple U.S. states/locations are referenced; travel is expected and may range from 25% to 75% depending on client needs.
