Job Summary
The Automation Test Engineer will design, develop, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks and test suites for enterprise applications. The role will collaborate closely with development teams to optimize testing processes, improve test coverage, and ensure high-quality software deliverables. The engineer will analyze automated test results, troubleshoot issues, develop automation scripts, support regression testing, and continuously improve testing strategies using modern automation tools and methodologies.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain scalable test automation frameworks and automated test suites for enterprise applications.
- Collaborate with development teams to optimize testing processes and ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Analyze automated test results, troubleshoot failures, and communicate findings effectively.
- Plan, develop, execute, and maintain automation scripts.
- Participate in automated regression testing and enhance overall testing strategies.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives related to test automation and quality engineering.
- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and Agile development processes.
- Apply appropriate automation frameworks and tools to improve testing efficiency and coverage.
- Evaluate and utilize AI-assisted development tools to support test automation and code generation.
- 5–7 years of experience designing and developing test automation frameworks.
- Strong programming skills in Java, Python, or similar programming languages.
- Hands-on experience with Selenium, Playwright, Cucumber/BDD, and REST Assured.
- Solid understanding of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
- Experience working with CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong understanding of automated testing, regression testing, test scripting, and framework development.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Ability to communicate automation test results, issues, and findings effectively.
- Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as Git Hub Copilot and Cursor for test automation and code generation.
