Build the operator surfaces where humans review, approve, and investigate agent activity.
Orcher's control surfaces are where a compliance officer approves a directive, an operator investigates a hold, and an auditor traces an action back to the person accountable for it. These interfaces carry consequence, and they have to be fast, precise, and unambiguous under pressure.
You will build them: the directive interface, approval queues, ledger exploration, routing observability, and the administrative consoles behind them. The stack is Type Script, React, Tan Stack Start, and Tailwind, against a typed API surface you will help shape.
We care more about interface judgement — density, hierarchy, error states, keyboard paths — than about framework trivia.
What you will do- Build and own operator-facing product surfaces end to end, including their API contracts.
- Design dense, information-rich interfaces that stay legible under real data volumes.
- Own accessibility, keyboard navigation, and performance budgets across the console.
- Build the observability views that make routing and policy decisions inspectable.
- Handle error, empty, and degraded states as first-class product work.
- Collaborate closely with design and with the engineers who own the underlying systems.
- Strong Type Script and modern React; comfort with SSR and data-loading patterns.
- Demonstrated care for interface craft in complex, data-dense applications.
- Ability to design and consume typed APIs rather than only consuming them.
- Testing discipline appropriate to software people rely on at work.
- Clear communication with design and backend partners.
- Interest in the problem domain — governance, audit, and autonomous systems.
- 4+ years building production web applications, ideally B2B or internal tools with real complexity.
- Has owned a significant product surface from design through operation.
- Experience with design systems or component libraries is a plus.
- BS in Computer Science, Design, HCI, or a related field.
- Self-taught engineers with a strong body of shipped work are equally welcome.
- Equity with a standard four-year vest.
- Full medical, dental, and vision coverage.
- 401(k) with company contribution and a hardware budget.
- Annual learning budget.
