Fresher Software Engineer

Join Pixoate as an early-career software engineer and work across the services and interfaces behind our AI-powered image, PDF and document tools. You will receive scoped problems, code-review feedback and increasing ownership as you demonstrate reliable delivery.

The current stack includes Node.js, Next.js, React, Type Script, Python, Express, REST APIs, MongoDB, Redis, Docker and Git Hub Actions. No professional experience is required. We value strong fundamentals and evidence of learning through personal, college, open-source or freelance projects over a specific degree or previous job title.

The advertised annual base-salary range is USD 20,000–80,000. The final offer within that range depends on skills, interview evidence, location and employment arrangements.

This is a fully remote role. Applicants must be based in United States.

• Build and maintain product features across frontend and backend services
• Create accessible interfaces with Next.js and React
• Develop and integrate Node.js, Python and REST API services
• Write readable, tested code and respond constructively to review
• Investigate defects and improve product reliability
• Document technical decisions and implementation details
• Learn the production stack and take ownership of progressively larger changes

• Working knowledge of Node.js and Next.js
• Working knowledge of Python
• JavaScript or Type Script, HTML and CSS fundamentals
• Basic understanding of REST APIs, Git and databases
• Problem-solving ability demonstrated through personal, college or open-source work
• Clear written communication in a fully remote team

• React and Tailwind CSS
• Express or another Node.js server framework
• MongoDB, PostgreSQL or Redis
• Docker and Linux fundamentals
• Automated testing or CI/CD experience
• Image processing, OCR or applied AI projects
