Job Description RoleStaff Software Engineer focused on GenAI Innovation and forward-deployed engineering role partners with product, design, research, and business stakeholders to prototype, iterate, and product ionize generative AI capabilities that support company products and workflows.
Key Responsibilities- Lead architecture, design, and implementation of GenAI systems and services.
- Embed with product or business teams to deliver tailored AI solutions from prototype to production.
- Collaborate with ML researchers and data teams to integrate models into scalable, reliable services.
- Own API and system-level design, deployment, monitoring, and iteration of GenAI features.
- Mentor engineers, define best practices for model deployment, and drive cross-functional alignment.
- Deep experience designing and delivering production software systems with an emphasis on AI/ML integration.
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally in forward-deployed or embedded engineering roles.
- Strong system design, architecture, and leadership skills for shipping complex features.
- Senior/staff-level engineering experience building production services; background with generative AI projects preferred.
- Experience taking prototypes to production, ensuring scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
Deliver high-impact GenAI capabilities by bridging research and product execution, reducing time-to-value for AI-driven features across NBCUniversal.
