Role Overview We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer for a key position on an eCommerce Post-Transactions team. This role is central to the success of the order fulfillment journey, powering order amendments and details. In this position, you will develop highly scalable services to process millions of requests per day and solve complex software engineering problems by leveraging state-of-the-art technology.

As a senior individual contributor, you will be expected to operate with autonomy and possess a strong understanding of system design.

Key Responsibilities
* Take the lead on problems related to scale and monetization.
* Leverage experience in designing and building large-scale distributed systems to solve scaling challenges and process large amounts of data.
* Provide business support by responding to user questions, concerns, and issues, such as technical feasibility and implementation strategies.
* Research and identify needed solutions, determine implementation designs, and provide guidance regarding the implications of new and enhanced systems.
* Manage small to large-sized complex projects by reviewing and translating requirements into technical solutions.
* Write and develop code, conduct unit testing, and communicate status and issues to team members and stakeholders.
* Troubleshoot open issues and bug-fixes, ensuring on-time delivery and hand-offs.
* Participate in the discovery phase of projects to contribute to high-level design in partnership with product management, project management, business, and user experience teams.

Required Qualifications
* 4+ years of working experience in Native Android App development.
* Experience with Kotlin, Jetpack libraries (Compose, View Model, Coroutines/Flow, Room), and MVVM/Clean Architecture patterns aligned with Google's Android best practices.
* 3+ years of working experience in Cloud Components and Architecture.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to broad audiences.
* Demonstrated experience with high-level design of systems.
* Solid experience in large-scale distributed systems and event-driven architecture.
* Experience designing, building, and maintaining APIs and services for highly scalable platforms.
* Experience with Kafka or other high-volume, low-latency messaging infrastructure.
* Experience with Azure Cloud Stack or other cloud stacks.
* Extensive knowledge of open-source libraries, design patterns, and micro-service architecture.
* Familiarity with CI/CD and unit testing.
