** What this Job Entails:
** The Mule Soft Developer / Lead is responsible for hands-on design, development, deployment, and operational support of enterprise integrations using the Mule Soft Anypoint Platform. This role ensures API-led connectivity, adherence to PG&E Mule Soft standards, CI/CD practices, and platform governance, while collaborating across business groups and Enterprise Integration (EI).

Roles and Responsibilities:

** Design & Development  Design and build APIs and integrations using Mule Soft Anypoint Platform (Mule
4).  Develop REST and SOAP APIs using RAML / OAS.  Implement Data Weave transformations for XML/JSON payloads.  Apply API-led connectivity patterns (Experience, Process, System APIs).Build, Test & Deploy  Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines (Git, Maven, Jenkins).  Write and maintain MUnit test cases (functional, negative, performance).  Deploy applications across environments using Cloud Hub and/or Runtime Fabric (RTF).  Support performance testing, capacity sizing, and tuning.

Platform & Governance  Apply API Manager policies (security, throttling, logging).  Ensure compliance with Mule Soft CAP, ARB reviews, and enterprise standards.  Publish and maintain API assets in Anypoint Exchange.  Participate in Architecture Review Board (ARB) and CAB processes.

Operations & Support  Troubleshoot production issues and support incident resolution.  Monitor APIs using platform monitoring and logging tools.  Perform root-cause analysis and support continuous improvement.  Collaborate with platform admins on upgrades, patches, and runtime changes.

Leadership (Lead role)  Lead and mentor Mule Soft developers across delivery teams.  Enforce coding standards, design patterns, and best practices.  Coordinate delivery across multiple integrations and stakeholders.  Act as technical point of contact for business groups and EI.
** Required Qualifications/

Skills:

*** Bachelor’s degree (B.S/B.A) from four-college or university and 5 to 8 years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
* Hands-on Mule Soft development experience (Mule
4).
* Strong knowledge of:
Anypoint Platform    API design (RAML / OAS)    Data Weave    CI/CD and Dev Ops practices
* Experience with:
Cloud Hub and/or Runtime Fabric (RTF)    API Management, Access Management, and Monitoring
* Performance testing and troubleshooting
* Strong understanding of enterprise integration patterns.
* Excellent communication skills in English (both speaking and writing)
* Ability to collaborate and work remotely including use of communication tools
* Ability to multi-task and self-organize including prioritization of activities
* Experience using monitoring systems
* Attention to detail

* Preferred Qualifications:

*** Mule Soft Certified Developer – Mule 4
* Mule Soft Certified Technical Lead or Platform Architect
