Overview

i3 isseeking a Software Engineer with3-7years of professional experience tohelpdevelop cutting edge command and control (C2) and autonomy softwareforuncrewed platforms including planes, boats, vehicles, and submersibles.

This team is developing a web-based user interface for autonomously tasking and orchestratingthese UxS platforms.

• The candidate will work with an Agile software development team delivering value to a DoD customer in small, incrementaliterations.
• The candidate will be responsible for followingpre-definedsoftware safety practicestodevelop flight critical software.
  
  This includes software architecture reviews, documentation updates, and comprehensive testing of new capabilities.
• Candidate will develop software designs using best practices and object-oriented methodologies.
• Candidate will developautomatedunit and integration level tests.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education, Experience and

Required skills:

• Must be a U.S. Citizen.

• Have aBachelor of Science degree (or advanced degree) from an accredited college (ABET preferred) in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or the hard sciences.
• 3-7 years of relevant professional experience.

• Candidate must be a team player and be creative, adaptive, and excited to learn.

• Routine collaboration with team members in developing system capabilitiesis expected.

• Candidatemustbe familiar with good configuration management practices and will be responsible for proper code maintenance, merging, and configuration management.
• Ability to obtain andmaintaina DoD security clearance.

Preferred Experience /

Skills:

• Experience with C#/.NET, Java script,and Typescript.

• Experiencedevelopingmodern web applications with tools such as React,Vue,and Tailwind.

• Experience with cloud-native infrastructure tools such as Kubernetes, K3s, and Docker.

• Prefer understanding ofagile software development.

• Familiarity with Gitfor software source control and configuration management.

• Experience with Linux is a plus.
