Term Summer Location Santa Clara, CATeamSoftware Engineering Apply bySat, January 30, 2027### About this internship NVIDIA runs a single 2027 application for its software engineering internships, and places each intern onto a team from that one pool. Interns work full time for 12 weeks on projects that have a measurable impact on the business, alongside the engineers who build CUDA, the GPU drivers, the cloud platforms and the tooling behind them.
The teams hiring from this posting include:
* Development Tools: debugging complex system-level issues; work touches relational databases, linear algebra, operating systems and hardware virtualisation
* Cloud: the architecture and automation of NVIDIA's cloud storage and data platform, using distributed systems, containers and cluster management
* Tools
Infrastructure: production software and chip-design workflows, with Unix shell, Linux, Java, JavaScript, C++, CUDA, Go, Python, Git, Kubernetes and Docker
* Machine Learning Operations: deep learning and GPU computing, including cuDNN, NCCL and TensorRTPay: the intern hourly rate is $20 to $71 USD, set by position, location, year in school, degree and experience. Interns are also eligible for NVIDIA intern benefits.
Who it is for: you must be actively enrolled at a university pursuing a B.S., M.S. or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or a related field for the full duration of the internship, and your anticipated graduation month and year must be on your resume to be considered.
