OverviewThe University of Northwestern Ohio (UNOH), located in Lima, OH, is currently seeking applicants for the Softball Head Coach position. UNOH is an NAIA affiliated school and competes in the Wolverine Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC).
Responsibilities- Head coach is responsible for all aspects of the softball program, including recruitment of qualified student-athletes.
- Promote the welfare and academic progress of student-athletes.
- Practice and game preparation; schedule and scouting; budget management.
- Perform daily administrative duties of the program.
- Supervision of assistant coaches and the overall administration of the softball program.
- Ensure compliance with University, WHAC Conference, and NAIA rules and regulations.
- Bachelor's degree required;
Master’s degree preferred. - Collegiate softball coaching experience and demonstrated recruiting ability required.
- A valid driver’s license and driving record meeting institutional requirements.
- Experience as a collegiate softball head coach with demonstrated success in competition.
