Minimum Stipend Offered: $4,804
Purpose StatementExtra-curricular activities are a vital extension of the student experience. The Assistant Football Coach works under the direction of the Head Coach to inspire, motivate, and teach students football-specific skills while fostering positive character traits, teamwork, and relationships.
Key Responsibilities- Support the Head Coach in managing all aspects of the football program.
- Assist in developing and implementing effective practice schedules, strategies, and game plans.
- Promote and uphold sportsmanship and team values.
- Foster positive relationships with students, staff, and the community.
- Ensure student eligibility and adherence to district and state policies.
- Collaborate with the Head Coach, athletic directors, and other staff as needed.
- Assistant Coaches must have completed 60 or more college credit hours prior to coaching.
- FHSD Certified Employees
- FHSD Non-Certified Employees
- Qualified External Candidates
- The role involves on-campus practices, games, and off-site events as required.
- Evening and weekend commitments are expected during the season.
