This is a CONTINUOUS recruitment for an applicant POOL to fill Part-Time assignments on an as-needed basis. Job Description Summary

The purpose of this position is to provide support services for the Cosmetology Program.

• Texas CSME Operator license required.
• Three (3) years work experience in cosmetology.

• Knowledge of TDLR rules and regulations.
• Knowledge of sanitation and safety in salon settings.
• Knowledge of record keeping.
• Professional verbal communications skills when communicating with students, staff and faculty.

Associate’s degree in Cosmetology or related field.

• Assist faculty in utilizing resources, materials, and educational technology to complement the teaching and learning process.
• Assists students in the proper and safe operation of a variety of tools and equipment. .
• Assist faculty in maintaining student records / forms.
• Monitor Cosmetology laboratory when students are completing laboratory hours and services.
