Logistics Coordinator

We are searching for a Material Coordinator II to join Ashland LLC’s Specialty Ingredients business in Calvert City. The position reports to the Logistics Manager and is an individual‑contributor role with no direct reports.

• Maintain working knowledge of shipping and recycling processes.
• Use Microsoft products and SAP (or another MRP system) to support logistics activities.
• Take initiative to execute on organizational goals and focus on performance and safety.
• Improve organizational capacity by building collaborative relationships, optimizing diverse talent, and using effective communication and influence.
• Iterate on existing products and optimize formulations based on customer feedback and performance data.

• Not a management position; there are no direct reports.
• Not exclusively R&D; a large portion involves logistics and shipping.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3‑5 years of logistics experience supporting on‑time shipping.
• 1‑2 years of working with SAP or another MRP software.

• Experience with SAP.
• Logistics experience.
• Knowledge of IMDG/49
  
  CFR/IATA regulations.

• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.

  CFR/IMDG/IATA certification preferred.
• Demonstrated responsible and ethical behavior at all times.
