We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical GS Road Logistics Specialist to support our Road Logistics operations. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the transportation booking process, creating and amending transport orders, and ensuring timely and accurate shipment execution. The successful candidate will collaborate with internal stakeholders and carriers to maintain service excellence, meet established SLAs, and contribute to continuous operational improvement.

Some of the position expectations are the following:

• Create and manage digital and manual bookings for road freight shipments.
• Initiate, amend, and maintain transportation orders throughout the supply chain process.
• Ensure accurate and timely booking execution while meeting customer and operational requirements.
• Provide proactive updates and feedback to internal stakeholders regarding shipment status and booking activities.
• Monitor compliance with service level agreements (SLAs) and operational standards.
• Maintain accurate shipment documentation and records within Transport Management Systems (TMS).
• Collaborate with carriers and internal teams to resolve operational issues and ensure smooth transportation execution.
• Support the onboarding of new customers and the integration of new countries into Road Logistics operations.
• Monitor and report key performance indicators (KPIs) related to booking efficiency, service performance, and capacity utilization.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and support continuous improvement initiatives.

• High School Diploma.
• Technical or bachelor's degree in logistics (preferred).
• Experience in freight forwarding, transportation, logistics, or supply chain operations is preferred.
• Proficiency in English (written and oral).
• Strong customer service orientation.
• Familiarity with continuous improvement practices (preferred).
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 tools.
• Sense of urgency and ability to prioritize.
• Strong problem-solving capabilities.
• Effective and persuasive communication

The schedule we offer:
Monday to Friday 7:45 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. Hybrid work model.

This position is subject to a rotating schedule and shift, which may vary between day, night, or mixed shifts. Your days off will also be assigned by the company, and both your schedule and days off may be modified with a minimum notice of five (5) business days.
