Robards 2nd Shift Forklift Operator

Job Summary

Position:
Material Handling – B Shift (Wednesday through Saturday, 8:10PM – 6:50AM). Pay: $18.35 per hour plus $2 perfect‑attendance incentive and $1 shift premium for the second shift. Functions include operating a pallet jack and forklift, moving product to its designated locations, loading and unloading blast‑cell and freezer racks, and providing general assistance throughout the facility.

Ensure all materials and products are transported, positioned, and unloaded in a timely and safe manner while adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

• Load and unload skids and move product to the necessary location.
• Operate a forklift and change its battery as needed (training provided).
• Maneuver a pallet jack around tables and conveyor belts, maintaining continuous control of the handle.
• Remain aware of obstacles and other team members in all travel areas.
• Complete various log sheets and maintain equipment upkeep records.
• Work in possible warm or cold temperatures and in wet, humid, or dusty conditions.
• Perform frequent walking, bending, standing, turning, pulling, twisting, and lifting of up to 70pounds.

• Must have at least three months of work history with one employer listed on the application.
• Preferred:
  Three months of forklift operator experience.
• Must possess a forklift license or be willing to obtain one; battery change training will be available.
• Ability to operate a pallet jack and maintain equipment while in possession.
• Willingness and ability to perform the physical requirements of the job, including lifting up to 70pounds, with or without a reasonable accommodation.
• Must be able to work B Shift (Wednesday–Saturday, 8:10PM–6:50AM).
