Truck Driver (Short Haul

The McGregor Company serves growers in Washington, Idaho and Oregon with the seed, crop inputs, equipment, services, research and advice needed to raise healthy, sustainable crops.

The McGregor Company Trucking Division distributes product to our retail branches and direct to farm customers, utilizing 20-30 trucks and drivers.

• Supplying The McGregor Company ag retail facilities and local growers with fertilizer products from area ports/terminals, including liquid and dry fertilizers
• Haul for outside entities during the off season, including but not limited to grain and seed products
• General maintenance on equipment
• Adherence to paperwork and DOT training regulations
• Good customer service skills, drivers interact with grower customers

• CDL Class A with tank, doubles and hazmat endorsements or ability to obtain Hazmat and tanker endorsements
• 2 years of experience driving commercial vehicles required
• Must be able to drive a manual transmission
• Safety minded professional
• Ability to obtain TWIC card after hire if not already held
• General knowledge of DOT rules and regulations
• Full-time with additional hours during peak busy seasons
• Home most nights
• Based in Colfax, Clarkston, or Pasco, dispatched from our headquarters in Colfax WA
