Delivery Driver

We are looking for aresponsible
Delivery Driver
to deliver products promptly to our customers.

7:00 am – 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, must be available for Overtime past 3:30 and some weekends.

Hourly Rate $20.00-$25.00

• Drive automatic transmission box truck and/or pick-up truck
• Deliver to commercial customers within state of Virginia
• Follow routes and time schedule
• Load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate a delivery vehicle
• Complete logs and reports
• Follow regulations and safety standards
• Obtain customer signature on delivery paperwork
• Count and package sheet metal products
• Move product by hand, cart, pallet jack, or forklift
• Tasked with General Labor duties when not making deliveries

• Proven working experience as a Delivery Driver
• Valid driver’s license (non-CDL)
• Ability to operate forklifts to load and unload tractor trailers and straight trucks preferred
• Experience material handling / moving odd size or oversize products with forklift helpful but not required
• Ability to drive in a variety of weather and traffic conditions
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Good driving record with no traffic violations, must meet our insurance requirements.
• Lift 50-75 lbs, stand, walk, sit, push, pull, bend, twist, squat, reach and perform repetitive hand and finger movements
• Must have reliable transportation and/or ability to get to work on time every day
• Good attendance is mandatory. Need to be flexible & available for overtime

Work is performed in a non-air conditioned plant, and smoking is allowed in some areas of building.
