Ambulance Operator (Driver)

IMMEDIATELY HIRING! AMBULANCE OPERATOR FULL-TIME Opportunity

We’rehiring Ambulance Operators that will respond to emergency and/or non-emergency requests for transportation needs and deliver high-quality care,treatment and customer service to patients.

• Drivers will respond to operation and dispatch requests and use the necessary tools,mapsand addresses to efficiently transport customers to and from facilities in a timely manner.
• Clearly document trip information details and adhere to company policies and procedures whilemaintainingconfidentiality and patient rights.
• Take pride inmaintaininga safe and clean vehicle environment for patients, complete the regular mechanical checklist at the start ofshiftsand report any vehicle issues to the Fleet Manager as needed.
• Use appropriate communication methods including standard radio transmission codes to effectively respond and route patients andcomply withthe company’s information security standards.
• Drivers willoperatetransportation equipment includingstretcher, hydrauliclift,wheelchairas well as be able to use protective personal equipment and manage disposal ofsuppliesas necessary.
• Work collaboratively and in a professional manner withall allied health and public safety personnel as well as your fellow drivers and operations team.

• State Driver’s License
• High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
• CPR card (Preferred)
• Driving record in compliance with company policy
• Pass Physical Agility Test
• Some work experience, preferably in healthcare
