POSITION SUMMARY:

The Non-CDL Night Driver is responsible for providing responsive and professional service to all guests of Winter Park Resort and The Village at Winter Park. Duties for this position include: driving guests to designated pick up/ drop off spots around the resort, responding to injured guest pick up, maintaining the general appearance of the shuttles as well as fluid level checks.

It is also an important responsibility of Shuttle Drivers to conduct vehicle inspections when necessary. A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is not necessary for this role; the applicant must meet the minimum requirements of the Alterra's Driver's Standards Policy.

WAGE:

The base hourly pay range below represents the low and high end of Winter Park Resorts' hourly pay range for this position. Actual pay will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, location, merit system, quantity or quality of production, responsibilities, and regular and/or necessary travel. The range listed is just one component of Winter Park Resorts' total compensation package for employees.

Other rewards may include many region-specific benefits.

Hourly pay: $19.50-$20.50

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Shuttles guests around Winter Park Resort in a safe and friendly manner
  • Greets guests upon arrival and addresses guest concerns
  • Must be knowledgeable about the ski area, community, activities, directions, dinner recommendations, etc...
  • Maintains the vehicle including: vacuum & cleaning interior, removes trash at the end of every shift, wash & fuels vehicle, checks fluid levels and alerts management when vehicle needs service.
  • Abides by the dress code, policies, and procedures maintained by Winter Park Resort
  • Promotes at all times a cooperative and problem-solving atmosphere
  • Is responsible for the best possible service to the guest, while maintaining a safe environment for both guests and employees
  • Other duties as assigned, including: assisting other departments, special projects, and miscellaneous duties
Other Duties:
  • Assist guests and employees with directions and information in a friendly, professional manner. Effectively handle first-line conflicts and problems.
  • Operate resort vehicles (if approved driver).
  • Assist grounds crew with general duties, snow removal, and sanding duties around assigned work area.
  • Pick up litter and remove trash in parking lots, skier drop-off, and transportation circle.
  • Control special events and VIP parking areas during special events.
  • Assist local police or sheriff's office, security, and/or ski patrol with emergency evacuation and accident response.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
EXTERNAL RELATIONS OR PARTNERS:
  • Communication with law enforcement and TOWP maintenance personnel
  • Be in communication with Trans Dev shuttle drivers

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/LICENSING:
