Marina Forklift Operator

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Marina Forklift Operator to join our team in Grand Rivers, KY. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating forklifts to move, load, and unload boats, equipment, and supplies within the marina. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

• Operate forklifts to transport boats, trailers, and marina equipment safely and efficiently.
• Load and unload boats and supplies from trucks and storage areas.
• Inspect forklifts daily to ensure proper functioning and report any maintenance needs.
• Assist with organizing and maintaining the marina yard and storage areas.
• Follow all safety guidelines and protocols to prevent accidents and damage.
• Coordinate with marina staff to ensure smooth operations and timely handling of equipment.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the marina management.

• Previous experience operating forklifts, preferably in a marina or similar environment.
• Valid forklift operator certification or willingness to obtain certification.
• Strong attention to safety and detail.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
• Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects as needed.
• Ability to work weekends and holidays mandatory.

This position involves working outdoors in a marina setting, often near water and boats. The role requires standing, walking, and operating machinery for extended periods.
