As Tractor Driver and Tour Guide you will be responsible for giving our guest tractor rides and leading tours of Wilson’s Orchard & Farm. As tour guide it is important that you are a good communicator, educator, personable, able to tell stories, and entertain guests. As a tractor driver you will be pulling a trailer with 20-30 guests, safe driving and attention to detail are imperative.
Main Responsibilities
- Work with management to organize and carry out tractor rides and tours of our Orchard & Farm.
- Ensure the safety of our guests, especially that the tractor is always operated safely.
- Ensure that the tractor and trailer are in good condition before and after tractor rides.
- Consistently provide outstanding service to all guests.
Take care to represent the Wilson’s brand well in your interactions with guests. - Work with management to organize and execute regular tractor and trailer preventative maintenance.
- Keep the tractor, trailer, and surrounding areas of the farm clean.
Other Responsibilities
- Work with other teams in the company as needed; when not giving rides or tours you may be asked to work in the Farm Market, Pizza Shack, or Orchard & Farm.
Candidate Requirements
- Experience driving tractors or manual vehicles with trailers.
- Highly competent, safe driver with valid driver’s license with excellent safety record.
- On-time, good time management.
- Positive, problem solving attitude.
- Respectful to all coworkers and customers.
Preferred Skills
- Ability to perform basic maintenance on the tractor, trailer, and other farm equipment.
- Strong mechanical abilities.
- Experience driving manual vehicles with trailers in hilly and rough terrain.
