Schedule: Available shifts Monday-Friday between 6:00 AM and 9:00 PM
Mount Laurel Animal Hospital is currently seeking dependable and safety-conscious Temporary Part-Time Shuttle Drivers to join our team. This position is responsible for safely transporting employees between designated parking areas and the main hospital building throughout the workday. Drivers will play an important role in providing reliable transportation for our team while maintaining a professional, courteous, and welcoming experience.
This is a temporary position expected to run for approximately three months starting in August 2026 and concluding in November 2026 with the possibility of an extension based on business needs.
Responsibilities- Safely transport employees between designated parking areas and the main hospital building
- Operate the hospital vehicle in a safe, responsible, and courteous manner
- Follow all traffic laws, hospital policies, and vehicle safety procedures
- Arrive on time and maintain reliable attendance for all scheduled shifts
- Assist employees with entering and exiting the vehicle as needed
- Maintain a professional and welcoming demeanor when interacting with employees
- Perform routine safety checks of the vehicle and promptly report maintenance or safety concerns
- Keep the vehicle clean, organized, and in good condition
- Immediately report any accidents, incidents, or vehicle concerns to the appropriate supervisor
- Follow all hospital safety protocols and procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Previous professional driving experience preferred
- Reliable and punctual with strong attendance
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional, courteous, and service-oriented demeanor
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Comfortable operating a company vehicle
- Ability to interact professionally with employees and hospital team members
- Strong awareness of safety and responsible driving practices
- Ability to sit and drive for extended periods
- Ability to safely assist passengers with entering and exiting the vehicle when needed
- Ability to perform basic vehicle safety checks
