About therole:

We’re looking for a dedicated driver who will be instrumental in achieving our blood collection goals and supporting our life-saving mission.

In this role, you will be on the front lines, ensuring the efficient setup, operation, and takedown of mobile blood drives. You will use your communication and customer service skills to build strong relationships with hospital and vendor staff as you deliver and transport blood and blood products. A successful driver will also need exceptional problem-solving skills to manage weather-related driving challenges and report any issues to management.

Whatyou’lldo:

• Support Blood Drive Operations:Help set up and take down mobile blood drives with ease and efficiency.

• Manage Blood Transport:collaborate with your colleagues tosafelytransport and deliver blood and blood products from drives to ensure they reach their destination in top condition.

• Assist and Serve:Provide excellent customer service to clients, donors, and team membersby building strongpartnershipsandrelationships with hospitals,drive sponsors, and our staff.

• Handle Various Tasks:Be ready to tackle additional tasks as they come up to support our team during the drive with a “can-do” approach to meet our mission.

Whatyou'llneed:

• High School DiplomaorGED.

• 2-3 years of truck or bus driving experience preferred.

• Avalid/clean driver’s license.

• The ability to meet Department of Transportation (Use the "Apply for this Job" box below). experience driving a straight truck and cargo vanand non-cdl bus.

• Ability to lift up to 50lbs and accurately follow instructions.
• Must be flexible to workearly mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
