Yzer is seeking a reliable and customer-focused Driver to perform last-mile deliveries, ensuring timely, accurate, and safe transportation of packages. This role is critical to providing a positive delivery experience, as the final point of contact in the logistics chain. The ideal candidate is punctual, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment. A strong commitment to safety, professionalism, and customer service is essential.

Safely and efficiently deliver packages to residential and or commercial customers as the final step in the delivery process.

Follow assigned delivery routes using GPS navigation and route optimization tools.

Load and unload packages from the vehicle, ensuring accuracy and care in handling.

Verify package information, obtain required signatures, and complete delivery documentation via handheld devices or apps.

Communicate with dispatch or supervisors regarding delays, issues, or delivery status updates.

Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness and report any maintenance concerns.

Follow all traffic laws, safety procedures, and company policies to maintain a clean driving record and ensure safe operations.

Provide excellent customer service during each delivery interaction, maintaining professionalism and a positive attitude.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle.

Adapt to changing routes, weather conditions, and delivery volumes as required by operational needs.

High school diploma or GED required.

Prior delivery or driving experience preferred (e.g., last-mile, courier, or logistics).

Familiarity with GPS systems, route optimization apps, and mobile delivery platforms is a plus.

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Must meet the company’s vehicle and insurance requirements if using a personal vehicle (for IC roles).

Ability to pass a background check and, if applicable, a drug screening.

Familiarity with local delivery area, traffic patterns, and safe driving practices.

Strong time management and organizational skills.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Reliable, punctual, and professional demeanor.

Ability to lift and carry packages (up to 75 lbs.) and handle repetitive physical activity (e.g., walking, bending, loading/unloading).

Comfortable using smartphones, scanning tools, or delivery apps for tracking and communication.
