Clerk Driver: Office of Aging

REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to read and write English.
• One year experience in operation of motor vehicles.
• Possession of a valid New Jersey driver’s license.
• Ability to drive a vehicle with caution and keep a good driving record.
• Works cooperatively with Nutritionist, Site Managers, and Meals on Wheels office staff, as well as Meals on Wheels Delivery Workers.

• Starting time is between 7:00 am and 8:00 am depending on program needs.
• Deliver meals to Meals on Wheels clients whenever needed.
• Work at any nutrition site as a nutrition worker as needed.
• Deliver bulk food from caterer to Luncheon Clubs when needed.
• Maintains accurate paperwork, including route sheets, route notes, and handwritten client instructions.
• Follows the assigned route and all delivery instructions carefully.
• Counts meals before leaving the nutrition site to ensure there are enough for every assigned
• Completes all duties required including recording meal temperatures, submitting route sheets for updates, having the vehicle washed, and keeping the vehicle's cab, refrigeration area, and oven clean.
• Other related duties.

SALARY: $42,205
