Location: Northern
What you’ll do
- Hold final responsibility for safe, compliant, and efficient operation of the Global 5000/Global Express.
- Ensure crewing and trip assignment compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Own flight planning, performance calculations, weight-and-balance, and all trip preparation.
- Lead Threats, Plans, and Considerations briefings; follow company SOPs and coordinate with EJM personnel.
- Serve as Ground Security and In-Flight Security Coordinator.
- Conduct thorough preflight, including maintenance status review, to confirm mission capability.
- Record and communicate aircraft discrepancies per company procedures.
- Oversee ground servicing (fueling, oil, oxygen) and conduct passenger briefings per policy and regulation.
- Deliver exceptional owner and passenger service; accommodate special needs, including for physically challenged passengers.
- Employ CRM and Threat & Error Management to communicate clearly during normal, abnormal, and emergency operations.
- Identify opportunities to enhance the EJM service experience; investigate and resolve service deviations.
- Collaborate effectively with crew and internal EJM partners; resolve conflicts appropriately.
- Maintain required training and recency; comply with EJM’s Safety Management System and report safety/non-compliance concerns.
- Prior corporate or business aviation experience (preferred).
- FAA type rating in the applicable fleet preferred; applicants with international or similar aircraft experience may be considered.
- Ability to perform the essential functions of the position.
- Strong customer service mindset and professional communication skills.
- Commitment to SMS, SOP discipline, CRM, and TEM best practices.
- Willingness to base within a two-hour radius of KBDR; commuting is not permitted.
- Pre-employment drug screening and background check required.
- Total time: 3,500 hours
- Pilot in Command (PIC): 2,000 hours
- Multi-Engine Land (MEL): 1,500 hours
- PIC MEL: 500 hours
- Instrument: 300 hours
- Jet time: 500 hours
