Role Description

The Ramp Agent is a full-time, on-site role based at the Hebron, KY airport location. In this position, the Ramp Agent loads and unloads baggage, cargo, and mail, and handles the safe movement of items between aircraft and terminal areas. The role includes operating ground service equipment, such as tugs and belt loaders, and assisting with aircraft marshalling and parking under strict safety guidelines.

Ramp Agents follow established procedures for aircraft handling, maintain clear communication with supervisors and team members, and ensure timely turnaround of flights. The role also requires working in varying weather conditions, performing physical tasks, and supporting high-quality service for airline partners and their customers.

Qualifications
  • Ability to safely perform unloading and loading tasks, including repeated lifting and handling of baggage and cargo.
  • Basic computer literacy to use company systems, handheld devices, and complete reports or training modules.
  • Experience or comfort with operating heavy equipment such as tugs, belt loaders, and other ground support vehicles, or willingness to be trained.
  • Strong customer service orientation to support airline partners and collaborate effectively with team members and other airport personnel.
  • Understanding of basic aircraft ramp safety procedures, with attention to detail and adherence to regulatory and company guidelines.
  • Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays, in outdoor conditions and varying weather.
  • Strong teamwork, communication skills, and reliability, with a commitment to punctuality and following instructions.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred; prior airport or logistics experience is an advantage but not required.
