The Driver Trainee is responsible for learning all aspects of Delivery Department standards and working toward obtaining a Class A CDL, which may lead to a future role as a Driver. Driver Trainees assists the Driver with whom they are assigned to with safe and timely delivery and merchandising of beverage products. The Driver Trainee is responsible for providing superior customer service while performing his/her duties.

• Be 21 or older
• Possess a Valid NYS Driver’s License with a satisfactory driving record that would allowthe Traineeto pursue a Class A License.
• Have 2 years’ general employment experience, including a minimum of 1-year related driving and/or delivery experience.
• Delivers the customer-purchased product to assigned accounts
• Stock coolers and shelves neatly with product, and ensure proper rotation of product with every delivery
• Picks up all empty cases and or kegs at their respective stops daily
• Ensures all safety policies and other Company policies and procedures are adhered to all times

• Communicates with customers and co-workers as needed to ensure superior customer service
• Communicates all problems or issues to immediate supervisor without delay
• Reports and resolves all customer service issues both internal and external in a timely manner
• Responsible for the communication and documentation of all accident, incidents, and injuries which occur in the delivery function

• Demonstrates the ability to evaluate and solve problems
• Able to complete tasks in the committedtimeframe
• Able to adapt to changes anddemonstrateflexibility to overcome obstacles

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Valid NYS Driver’s License with satisfactory driving record that would allow the Trainee to pursue a Class A License.
• 2 years’ general employment experience, including a minimum of 1-year related driving and/or delivery experience required.
• Ability to work additional hours, as needed.
• Responsible use and maintenance of company-issued equipment

• Ability to work additional hours, as needed
• Must speak to supervisor at least two (2) hours before the scheduled start of their scheduled shift when calling in sick. Voice mail or e-mail messages are not acceptable replacements.
• Comply all company policies related to DeCrescente issued uniforms, safety footwear, and required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Use and maintain company-issued equipment properly and responsibly
