ERJ-Captain Concord, NC

The Mission

As Captain, you will be the final authority for the safe, compliant, and efficient operation of the ERJ-145. You’ll plan and execute trips with precision, protect passengers and crew, and represent Hendrick Motorsports with impeccable airmanship and service.

• Lead safe, prudent flight operations in accordance with company policies and all applicable FARs.
• Review aircraft maintenance status and ensure airworthiness.
• Conduct thorough preflight inspections per the approved Aircraft Flight Manual.
• Analyze weather, facilities, routes, destination and alternate airports; develop sound go/no-go decisions.
• Safeguard passenger, aircraft, and crew safety at every phase of flight.
• Complete accurate trip documentation and paperwork per current procedures.
• Collaborate closely with dispatch and maintenance; communicate clearly with all stakeholders.

• Minimum 3,000 hours total time; 1,500 hours PIC; 1,500 hours multi-engine;
  500 hours multi-engine PIC;
  500 hours turbojet;
  250 hours instrument.
• ATP
  - Unrestricted or Restricted - and a current First-Class Medical.
• Five (5) years of aviation experience.
• Type rating desired:
  ERJ-145/Legacy
  .
• Preferred background:
  Part 121, Part 125, or corporate flight department experience.
• Ability to work a flexible, on-call schedule and travel as needed.
• Annual completion of ICAO international-procedures training.
• Primary residence within a one-hour drive of Concord, NC, or willingness to relocate.
• Professional, communicative, team-oriented demeanor.

This Captain role requires frequent travel and readiness for on-call assignments.
