Role overview

As Captain, you are responsible for the safe, compliant, and efficient operation of the Gulfstream G450. You will lead each flight with professionalism, sound judgment, and a client-first mindset—planning thoroughly, communicating clearly, and executing to the highest standards on every leg.

• Act as Captain of the Gulfstream G450, ensuring the safety of passengers, aircraft, and crew at all times.
• Review aircraft maintenance status and airworthiness prior to flight.
• Conduct thorough pre-flight inspections in accordance with the approved Aircraft Flight Manual.
• Plan and brief each mission: evaluate weather, facilities, route conditions, destination airports, and appropriate alternates.
• Operate in full compliance with Solairus Aviation policies and procedures and all applicable Federal Aviation Regulations.
• Complete all trip documentation accurately and promptly in accordance with current procedures.
• Maintain currency and proficiency, including annual completion of ICAO International Procedures training.
• Support an on-call schedule while providing exemplary service and communication to clients and team members.

• Total time: 3,000 hours
• Pilot-in-Command (PIC): 1,500 hours
• Multi-Engine Land (MEL): 1,500 hours
• MEL PIC: 500 hours
• Turbojet time: 500 hours
• Instrument time: 250 hours
• Type rating on the Gulfstream G450 or a comparable aircraft.
• Current first-class medical.
• Annual completion of ICAO International Procedures training.
• Primary residence within a two-hour drive of KCMA, or willingness to relocate.
• Ability to support on-call operational needs.

• Operate to high professional standards with strong team support and operational excellence.
• Be based in desirable Southern California at Camarillo (KCMA).
