Aventura at the Bay is seeking a reliable, compassionate, and responsible Transportation Aide to join our team. The Transportation Aide will assist with the safe and timely transportation of residents to appointments, activities, and other approved destinations while providing courteous and respectful service.

• Safely transport residents to and from medical appointments, activities, and other destinations.

• Assist residents with entering and exiting the vehicle safely.

• Provide courteous, compassionate, and professional service to residents.

• Ensure residents are properly secured and comfortable during transportation.

• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the facility vehicle.

• Complete required transportation logs and documentation.

• Communicate appointment schedules and transportation needs with facility staff.

• Perform routine vehicle safety checks and report any maintenance concerns.

• Follow all facility safety policies and transportation procedures.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

• Valid driver's license and a safe driving record.

• Reliable and dependable with excellent attendance.

• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff.

• Previous experience working with seniors or in a healthcare setting

• Ability to pass a required background check.

• Must be comfortable assisting residents with mobility needs.
