Instructor, Truck Driving

• Minimum of two (2) years’ experience operating a vehicle requiring a Class A

• Minimum of two (2) years’ experience operating a vehicle requiring a Class A

Commercial Driver’s License; five (5) years preferred.

• Valid NC Class A CDL.
• Training experience preferred (with a school or as a company trainer).
• Educational experience preferred.
• Acceptable and continuously maintained Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) throughout employment.

• Must be able to pass a background check.
• Current or past Hazmat endorsement preferred.
• Basic computer knowledge required (Word, Outlook, Excel, Teams).
• Subject to a pre-employment DOT drug screen and random drug screens throughout employment, per FMCSA regulations.

• Agriculture experience is preferred. Live haul, feed trailers, shavings, pellets, ag equipment, etc. can be considered as agriculture.

• Will work in and around the cab of a tractor; must be able to climb in and out multiple times per day and may need to climb in and out of trailers and squat, crawl, or get under trailers.

• Will work outside on the training field when needed; must be able to stand and walk for long periods.

• Will work in extreme heat and cold, and in the rain, when on the training field.
• Must be able to stand/walk for up to 8 hours in these conditions.
