Warehouse Associate

Position Details

Schedule:

Sunday - Thursday from 4pm until finish.

Base pay: $12.50 - $16.50, with potential earnings up to $21 per hour in the first year of employment with performance incentives.

Some roles require PIT experience (1-year minimum).

The Warehouse Person moves and tracks all inbound, outbound, and stored products within the warehouse. Offloads, stocks, selects, and replenishes products.

• Receives all inbound merchandise and locates proper pick location.
• Restocks order pick and flow lines to prepare warehouse for order selection.
• Ensures placement of product in sufficient quantities to accommodate routine or special demands.
• Maintains a high level of attention to detail by ensuring proper care in all areas, including balers, aisles, racking, floors, door pits, and other designated areas.
• Transfers merchandise from the receiving area to its appropriate location.
• Consolidates merchandise into picking containers as necessary.
• Packs products securely in cartons and totes.
• Applies shipping  marks cartons/totes with truck run and stop number.
• Ensures safe and efficient movement and tracking of inbound, outbound, and stored products within the warehouse.
• Maintains inventory integrity by adhering to system processes.
• Pulls orders according to sequencing on delivery route/run list.
• Records amounts of materials or items received or distributed.
• Performs end-of-shift tasks such as charging power equipment and verifying completed work.
• Maintains orderly workstation; returns supplies and merchandise to assigned locations.
• Follows all preferred work methods, safety policies, and procedures per company guidelines.
• Ensures work area is safe and reports any unsafe conditions and acts immediately.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent.
• Must be able to work the scheduled/assigned times and required overtime for the position.
• Able to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout the shift.
• Able to lift, stack, and/or pull products off shelves, and replenish product from various heights weighing between 10-35 pounds and generally up to between approximately 60 and 90 pounds, depending on the location, throughout the shift.
• Able to work in multi-temperature environments, i.e., cooler, freezer, and dry.
• Pass post‑offer drug test and criminal background check.

• 1+ year of warehouse and/or distribution work experience.
• Food service distribution or related industry experience.
