Job Summary
Receives, stores, issues, delivers, ships and accounts for Warehouse materials.
How You Will Create the Extraordinary- Receives materials from common carriers and suppliers.
- Inspects and counts incoming materials; verifies against order for correctness and condition. Reports deviations to Warehouse Manager, Lead material Handler or Purchasing Coordinator.
- Stores materials in warehouses and obtains proper paper work authorizing storage from other departments for non‑inventory assets.
- Fills orders and issues supplies upon receipt of approved requisition or transfer request.
- Delivers materials to user departments. Verifies correctness of orders with receiving departments and obtains authorized signature on Warehouse Transfer receipt.
- Assists in inventory counts of all materials.
- Obtains required signatures on receipts and bills of lading and maintains required reports and records.
- Makes special deliveries and pickups as assigned.
- Operates company vehicles and material‑handling equipment in a safe manner as assigned.
- Keeps Warehouse clean and orderly.
- Uses extreme care in the handling, issuing, storing, retrieving and disposing of stored files.
- High School graduate or equivalent preferred
- Six months warehouse experience preferred
- Good mathematical and clerical aptitude
- Literate and fluent in English
- Valid drivers’ license; must be able to be insured to operate company vehicles.
- Ability to operate trucks with manual transmission and be able to pass a medical examination for certification through Nevada
- Ability to act in situations of urgency
- Ability to effectively communicate with diverse departments
- Ability to uphold and demonstrate the highest level of integrity in all situations and recognize standards required by a regulated business
- Acts as a role model to other Team Members and always presents oneself as a credit to Caesars Entertainment and encourages others to do the same. Adheres to all regulatory, company and department policies and procedures
- Ability to constantly lift large, heavy objects weighing up to 60 lbs
- Ability to frequently lift large, heavy objects weighing 60-90 lbs
- Ability to occasionally lift large, heavy objects weighing 90+ lbs.
- Visual field must include near to far distances
- Mobility to move easily around the warehouse areas
- Ability to read and write
- Ability to grasp, hold, bend, reach
- Ability to stand and walk for duration of shift
- Auditory range must include immediate environment
- Ability to climb stairs
- Ability to frequently work in extreme indoor temps
- Ability to occasionally work in extreme outdoor temps
- Positions that have contact with the public require the ability to work in a noisy environment, and may be exposed to guests who use tobacco products. Also, non‑public contact positions may be required to enter public areas from time to time, in connection with their duties, and may be subject to the same environment.
