Overview
The Facility Technician I for Smithfield, KY will be responsible for completing all assigned warehouse duties in a safe and responsible manner. This includes loading/unloading trucks, preparing waste shipments, reconciling inventory, general housekeeping, and compliance with waste storage. Pay is $19.50 per hour with a $1.75 shift differential for Night Shift. Shift: 11pm-7am (Sun-Thurs).
Responsibilities- Ensure health and safety as the top priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times
- Load and unload route trucks
- Prepare waste loads for shipment to Recycling Center/Distribution Center
- Manage inventory order and receiving process
- General housekeeping and maintaining a clean work area
- Ensure waste is stored in a safe and proper manner
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Must be 18 years or older
- 1+ years of related experience
- Forklift experience preferred (not required)
- Ability to use a computer
- Ability to lift 50 pounds or more
