Warehouse Associate

Responsibilities

• Handle and deliver raw material and parts to other departments including shipping, loading and receiving.
• Read batch sheets/customer orders to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
• Count, weigh, measure, or examine packaging and contents of items for conformance to company specifications.
• Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins according to a predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code.
• Assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets or shelves or convey orders to packing station or shipping department.
• Compare items packed with the customer's order and other identifying data.
• Use a computer to enter records.
• Examine stock and shipment details to verify conformance to Vendor Compliance.
• Assist with proper product procedures, such as bagging, labeling and boxing.
• Fasten postage to outbound packages.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Ability to work as a team player and assist other departments as required.
• Assist in any other special projects, as needed, and participate in processes to improve quality, efficiency, or productivity.
• Ability to unload, check‑in, count and sort incoming products to verify receipt of items on bill of lading and packing lists.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Forklift experience is a plus.
• Experience in a warehouse or distribution environment.
• Must be 18 years of age or over.
